About Us

Bianca Saxon, Founder

Bianca Saxon is a professional violinist, music educator, and founder of Saxon Music and Tehachapi Youth Symphony. With more than two decades of experience teaching and performing, she has dedicated her career to helping musicians of all ages develop confidence, discipline, creativity, and joy through music.

Bianca earned her degree in Violin Performance from California State University, Northridge, graduating in 2013 after studying violin with Michael Ferril. Her professional career includes approximately 15 years as a professional musician in Los Angeles, where she performed in recording sessions for albums and motion pictures, as well as in commercials, red-carpet events, and television productions. She also worked with Children’s Music Workshop, an Emmy Award-winning music education program. In 2015, she was nominated for the Grammy Music Educator Award in recognition of her commitment to music education.

Today, Bianca teaches violin, ukulele, and beginning piano while maintaining an active performing career. She serves as Concertmaster and Music Librarian of the Desert Community Orchestra and performs with the Tehachapi Symphony Orchestra.

Her passion for music education led her to establish Tehachapi Youth Symphony, creating opportunities for young musicians in Tehachapi, Mojave, California City, Rosamond, and surrounding communities to experience the excitement and belonging that come from playing in an orchestra.

Bianca believes music education is about more than learning notes on a page. Through thoughtful instruction, high expectations, encouragement, and genuine connection, she helps students become stronger, more confident, and more expressive musicians.

Through Tehachapi Youth Symphony, Bianca is creating a place where young musicians can belong, grow, and perform—both on and off the stage.
